Client Joanne, in her 70s, was not enrolled in Part B. Suzanne advised her on how to enroll during the Part B Open Enrollment. Once enrolled, Suzanne helped her enroll in a Medicare Supplement and Part D plan.
Phyllis, on Medicare and Medicaid, moved to Ohio. After the move, she noticed that she was charged for her Part B premium. Suzanne advised her on how to get that corrected, and she subsequently received a retroactive refund of the premium.
Jackie, in her 60’s, had a stroke and missed a payment of her Part B premiums. Medicare subsequently dis-enrolled her from Part B. We advised her on how to re-enroll for Part B during Open Enrollment, and how to apply for Extra Help for prescription drugs.
